Western ridge much sharper. I’ll check in at 11:00 and 1:30. Fingers crossed. Happy New Years All. Going out now!

Madonne, give it a rest with this throwing in the towel crap already! It isn’t over until the fat lady sings! And I don’t hear any singing...

Which is why everyone should just go enjoy the holiday until tomorrow night even Tuesday. If you are gonna throw in the towel then pick it up again and throw it in again etc etc with every model run you are in for a very long and torturous next 2-3 days.

SREFs are NW. I’m going out for the night. Of course I’ll look at the 0z runs on my phone while I’m out but probably won’t post until our big 12z runs tmw. Happy new year guys!

Re: Potential Mothrazilla January 4th-5th
Are we looking at the possibility of a major freezing rain storm IF this gets too close to the coast? With the power of this storm winds etc. that would be very very bad. I understand the upper levels can warm to rain but the surface is so cold it would freeze prolly before it hit the ground. This is all a hypothetical question because that has not been mentioned much yet but have heard some talk.

Noticeably stronger lead energy and northern stream is faster and further south.

Mini-ridge between the energies is much more muted as a result of faster and further south northern stream, likely will see earlier interaction. How early? That's pending.....

WOW gigantic shift east on LP development, not good. Instead of south tip FL its NE of Bahamas, unless I am not reading it right?

Yep worst thing we seen yet, lets hop its a bad run. straigfht OTS would be quite the coup for the NAM versus all the others.Sanchize06 wrote:Or it'll just go east, that's interesting

I don't even know what happened there, so I'm not even gonna try ahaha that was just strange. But I didn't like howntue western ridge devolved toward the end.

well i know we dont live and die by a model run or try not too but if the other models do that i think its safe to say it aint happening cuz thats a huge change.rb924119 wrote:I don't even know what happened there, so I'm not even gonna try ahaha that was just strange.
