That storm was awesome. I missed out on the 2’ + by 4 miles. Still got 20”. This weekend looks like it could be even better than Nemo. 2 straight days of 40’s and rain in mid February. 2.5” worth of liquid gold.

Same. Been snowing very lightly for two hours. Cardinals in trees around bird feeder look delightful.

Snowing very lightly! Never thought the snow would bring tears to my eyes but this morning my son found our beloved Siberian Husky dead in our living room. She loved the snow so much, the snow is for you girl.

Awe geeze, Jim, so sorry to hear. Though I think your outlook about the snow is wrong; the snow isn't for her. The snow is FROM her FOR you - she'll always be with you in your hearts and memories, and she wanted to ensure that with what's outside your windows now

Re: February Observations and Discussions
So sorry to hear of your pets demise. She will never lose the place she holds in your hearts. I've lost many pets over the years, but it doesn't get any easier. And for your son having to have been the one to find her must have been very tough for him. Lay her to rest in a favorite place of hers in the yard and find solace in knowing that she passed on her own terms.

It is something that we let that which can hurt us so into our hearts but that is the way it is with dogs. It is hard to say goodbye.

Here is is still snowing. I can't say for sure but I think I am looking at a couple of inches. I actually have to go back out and snowblow the driveway from Wed evening.

Jim so sorry for your loss. Man''s best friend are the epitome of just that, unconditional love and attention. A poll not to long ago showed that man would trade in their spouse to keep their dog. They are always by our side. It is sad but she will help bring you snow and hold onto the cherished memoris of her. Hang in there bud.

To show how well this winter is going up here, yesterday we had .25 inch of snow and now 2 inches of "a soaking rain" as Goldberg is fond of saying and I can't stand,LOL, is coming over two days.

44* with steady rain. Radar shows very heavy rain about to move in from the Princeton to Bucks Co. PA area. That should cause a lot of street flooding issues in some areas I’d think. Another heavy batch of rain over Maryland seems destined to get here this afternoon right after this incoming batch.

Re: February Observations and Discussions
Never got above 38 here yesterday and it's 34.7 and of course raining again, talk about frustrating.
As of this morning we still have snow cover, which speaks more to the resilience of encasing snow in a 1/4 inch of ice than the two minor events from Feb 2nd and 7th that dropped 3.8 inches of snow, but this will be officially the last day.
40 days of snow cover so far this winter, 28.6 inches of snow and overall temperatures from December 1 to this point slightly BN means I can't complain to much yet. But when I look at the 15 day I have a lot of complaining to do, but I won't today at least.
