the weaker primary ended up in west Virginia because it couldn't penetrate the block. this trend has been ongoing for the last several days on most models. the weaker primary also limits the degree of WAA so we cool down quicker.
keep looking for that trend

Omg just got out of work storm mode high wind watch for a 25 hr period and that nam map!!! I'm jumping up and down. Absolutely nuts 16.5 with 60 mph winds wet snow there's go be a lot of power issues. Frank you made a good on ur map u left southern wc Bronx NYC and si blank lol

Joanne, I watched Jeff earlier on FB and he hinted at a heavy wet snow for some areas. They really wait until the last minute to sound the alarm, they have such a large viewing area, they have to be careful. We, on the otherhand, don't have to really report to anybody, so....

The winds are extremely intense on the 18z nam high end high wind warning criteria even if u chop off for the 850 level difference. Crazy I'm pumped and hoping that 16.5 over me pans out and not this nws flood watch.
