JCP&L site says nearly 60% of Parsippany is without power. I still have power for now. Hope you get yours back soon!sabamfa wrote:Jesus. Saw at least 10 orange flashes, and a few green which I figured were transformers.
I’ve been without power for about a half an hour nor myself.

Number makes sense. Overnight accumulation was minimal. I ended with 16.

if we get another storm Sun into Mon, victory has been snatched from the jaws of defeat. A good winter after all. CP's ode did the trick. No lie.
You da man DK.
22.5 Inches and starting to wind down finally.
10 more inches than I expected. Still hoping to hit two feet.
Actually I'm so happy with this storm I don't even care about the 1.3 inch mismeasurement in Central Park.

Spotter in North Caldwell from Upton reports came in with 19 in at 5 pm, probably wound up with 22 or so. North Caldwell sits at 600 ft at the peak.

What is up with nj power infrastructure? It must suck to have so many ourages. I've had storms including this one with trees weighed down but don't lose like that wow hope all are ok. My patents in CT lost power too.

Wow! Congrats CP! Still very heavy snow and I’m at At 7" so far. Started accumulating at 4 ish that’s almost a 2”/hr rate avg.. My wife's windshield wipers stopped working while driving home on sunrise highway, so I had to drive down William Floyd parkway to help her. I couldn't see a thing. Left my office at around 5:15. Just got home about 20 mins ago. Should have taken me about 30-40 mins round trip total.

Yeah Its been raining here for a while now. From 5-630pm or so it was pretty wild. I guess that what the areas under the death band in Jersey dealt with all day long.
and I did get thunder snow earlier that is always a highlight. Sometimes it works but March snow in the daytime has been known to disappoint lol
Happy for the inland folk getting blasted with snow (except the power outages part). We been on the snow gravy train alot of years lately near the coast, they could use it this time.
