Not gonna lie boys. I thought about CP hacking the NWS site to screw with me AND I thought about the Ophelia thing too. Funny crap

Look close at the radar though. Returns are moving more ENE than NNE. hope my eye is wrong. Reading some analysis wherever heavier bands set up west of the LP snow could really pile up quick while areas east and west suffer from the dreaded s word

Let this be understood now by ALL..esp those east of NYC. There will be frontogenesis and banding develop. Where there is banding there will likely be areas of subsidence...its inevitable.

40* with a light rain shower here. Not expecting steady snow until later, maybe after 10.

If some of the westward trends especially like the HRRR continue my first call snow map may be better than my final. Lol.

The HRRR is trying to sucker us in. It brings the 1” of line to my backyard. Don’t let it suck you in

Re: March 13th JUST Missed Nor'easter Observations
I can't believe the wind pick up. I went from 11mph to 16 with gusts up to 20 in a bit less than one hour. Temps are falling more slowly now. Now, if it just gets a little white gold behind it. I'm a happy woman

Re: March 13th JUST Missed Nor'easter Observations
Down to 38* with light rain here. Looking at radar the heaviest bands over NC and VA appear to be moving more north than northeast. Of course if the low pulls the entire precip shield to the northeast that may not mean much.
