3”. Still heavy snow on the Nassau/Queens border. Basically add 1” for every 6 miles east you hit through extreme western Suffolk. Buddy in Dix Hills says he’s easily over 6”

Crazy. I’m about 9-10 miles east of Dix Hills and have 2” here

Alex I measured just under 4” at 7 when I left my house. I posted a pic of me driving. It’s been 2”+ per hour since then over central eastern Nassau. I can’t confirm the Dix Hills measurement but I trust the guy. I can confirm being at almost 6” IMBY

Ohh I believe you. That band means business. And I’m just outside of it. Hopefully it moves east

Let this be understood now by ALL..esp those east of NYC. There will be frontogenesis and banding develop. Where there is banding there will likely be areas of subsidence...its inevitable.
I am eating my own words from yesterday....

You’re gonna cash in Alex and Scott. 2” per hour rates for 2 hours incoming.

Re: March 13th JUST Missed Nor'easter Observations
Pretty much over here.
I measured anywhere from 3.7 to 4.5 inches. I never cleared the two feet of snow from my snow board from the last storm so I'll wait on the "TRAINED SPOTTERS" report in Highland Mills for the official measurement.
It performed about as expected here.

The heavier band is finally over me. Now let’s see if the rate of snow is enough to overcome the temp, which is now 33

Re: March 13th JUST Missed Nor'easter Observations
Looks like another heavy band organizing over extreme western LI. By the time it’s all said and done gonna be 6-9” across northern half of Nassau County easy
Reports from Jman and others near NYC prove the urban heat island effect

34 feels like 26. Winds at 10mph. Light to moderate snow falling. Sticking to vehicles and now starting to stick to lawns. Pavements clear with no stickage.
Congrats to all who are reaping it.
