Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations Part II
6.4 inches and all after 8 PM last night, just unbelievable, 15 inches OTG and almost 44 inches this month.
In the lucky spot of the HV this year, 77.3 for the season.

The totals so far at Upton. Many are not final totals. LI the winner and the NWS, they were mocked by many for their aggressive predictions and for the most part verified. Of course for the most part so did our guys.
Amazing job by our experts.

2.5 inches in southern Dutchess. Looks like more snow then was in Northern Wesrchester. Roads look clean but still areasof slush. Still very dangerous. I had to help a guy who flipped and went off the road out of his car on my way home. He was fine. So take it easy if you are driving.

15.5" final total. Just incredible spring snowstorm. ~36" for March and ~65.5" for the season. Not too shabby. Might be too greedy to want a bit more, but don't want to come down off of this cloud yet.

As usual great analysis and job by the experts on this board. Many doubted the second part to the storm. Frank, Sroc, RB, et al held their ground consistently.

Looks like another LI storm. I wanna move there!!!! I got 6.5 in Wayne. For a March 21st storm it was great. For set expectations it was a disappointment. Looking at what could have been with just a few meteorological tics. All in perspective!

14.5" in Bayville, NJ. I suspect there was more at one point, but that's what I can verify.

As SROC said last week. Complicated storm. Fun to track. Great analysis to the end. Thank you!! It was very nice to be up at 1am watching some Disney like film about dancing in France (Leap) with my daughter who could not sleep and seeing the snow fall. Very cool.

7.25” in Somerville NJ. If you count the inch that fell and melted away during lulls in daytime snow it’s just over 8”.

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations Part II
I would say that NNJ into SW central NJ , Manhattan and LHV on a whole underperformed from a forecasting perspective where a general 6 to 10 in fell. LI into Central NJ including the shore was spot on. Hey , this was an early Spring storm that was not easy to forecast by any means. You look, listen and learn .

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations Part II
Hey folks....On behalf of the entire NJ Strong crew we all appreciate everyone on here. But please DO NOT get sucked into a war of words this am. Haters gonna hate. The guy who was banned and the other who's post I just deleted if you want to talk tough in cyber world please do so on another forum. If anyone posts ridiculous crap like I just deleted on here it will be immediately deleted. This goes for frequent and in frequent posters. If there is any trolling this morning there will be a zero tolerance rule in effect.
Those who are on here often know how we were all over this storm beginning about 2 weeks ago. You ALWAYS have underachievers and overachievers in these types of dynamic set ups. There is no way around it. Those mets and amatuers who pound their chest like they know exactly what will happen are destined to look like fools as was pretty much proven over the last 24hrs.
NO ONE, professional or amateur nailed this storm 100% correct, BUT collectively this forum was pretty damn good.
Again zero tolerance on trolling or responding to trolling...Thank you!!

Is anyone going to start a separate thread for just snowfall totals for RB’s project?
