What nasty weather this morning, NAM no longer has much of anything for this area but oall of mass and northern CT get slammed, of course.

I'm still very confident we will have above normal snowfall this winter despite the failures of December thus far. In order for that to happen, we will be going against history. If you look past at other unproductive Decembers, it does not usually bode well for the rest of the winter if you're looking for above normal snowfall amounts.syosnow94 wrote:December to remember. So then plan on it being like all other historical years, why think any differently? Thats just wishful thinking, you know that analogs are used VERY often and usually unless its a huge anomoly are correct to the overall degree of snowfall, so I am guessing average or below which means for me less than 18 inches cuz we already had 7. Honestly I am ready for spring if thats the case.@nutleyblizzard wrote:I'm still very confident we will have above normal snowfall this winter despite the failures of December thus far. For once I’m with Jman hereYes I know it’s still very early. I’m putting my trust in Frank’s optimism and LR forecast but I hold ZERO expectations. And maybe that’s a good thing
