Bottomed out at 7.3°, 11.3° right now.
It will be interesting to see if we can make a run below zero one of these next several nights. A very January look and feel.

That, the snow cover, and calm winds leads me to believe several places on our forum see sub zero one of the next couple of nights. I was 7.3° this morning.

Re: March 2019 Observations and Discussion
Nothing like flapjacks. Accept no substitute.
It is 21 right now. I have about a five foot high by 30 foot wide pile of plowed snow to the right of the driveway. It is a reminder to me that winter is not over. Or is it?
Sunny, and going outside and coming back in has left my eyes blasted from the light off of the snow cap. However, despite the cold and the message the pile of driveway snow gives me, I am sad. I know winter is...almost over.

It’s been snowing for half an hour here, and there’s a dusting on the driveway and cars.

5.4° under a nice blanket of snow, best stretch of the winter just 3 months late.

11 was low. Bit of cloud cover prevented lower temperatures. Concur with CP this by far is the most winter like stretch since well last March.

11° here for a low as well, with almost 5" of glacier remaining, this may be my longest stretch of snowpack this season...

Re: March 2019 Observations and Discussion
It looks like once again, the northern precip edge of a light, fast overrunning event will set up shop in Ocean County. As of now, the precip looks to be way down by LarryB down in Barengat (GSP exit 67-ish). You should be under radar for the next several hours...see if anything actually drops, and if so it accumulates down there at all.
Future radars shows snow showers along the immediate coast up thru the all Ocean County for the next several hours, but not really much further north.
One of the real consistencies of this season has been the glancing blows that Ocean County has been getting from the central Mid-Atlantic's bounty. It's always penny-ante type stuff, but it's happened at least 5-6 times in the past 2 months.
I'm not sayin' for a second that this has in any way saved the season...but without these events, oh man...

Radar and app say it's snowing lightly, eyes and sky say it's raining lightly. For now, I guess I'll believe my eyes and the sky.

34 and sunny, 1-3 inches expected late tonight and early Sunday morning before changeover. I'll take it. Next week features a warm up peaking on Friday and then back to colder again.

Re: March 2019 Observations and Discussion
It was a beautiful day. In the sun, it felt like 60. I got a sunburn working outside. Did anyone notice the blue sky today? Not a single cloud in the sky. It was as if I were in AZ.
