Changed back to sleet here in West Orange. The snow coming down in East Rutherford at the Giants game is incredible!

Quick meteorological question. If we are looking at a deformation band somewhere in the area tomorrow, won't that also cause areas around it to possibly become areas to receive less than they would have as the deformation band sucks the moisture form an area around it?

Here is the 12Z ECMWF OP for midday tomorrow picking up on an inverted trough over the I-81 corridor, robbing the I-87 corridor (especially here in Albany) of substantial snow. This gives me flashbacks to 1/26/15 (aka "Juno") only in that storm the inverted trough developed over central/western PA robbing EPA, NJ, and NYC of big snow

I think the Hudson Valley is going to get skunked during midday Monday as long as low is tucked near coast. I'm just hoping those bands move east as low moves east. I think we can pick good snows late monday afternoon and night.

That's my current thinking. That's the issue with Miller B's. As the transfer is happening, you can issues like that.
