1.25” of snow here this morning, and I think it’s over now.

About 3" of fresh powder. Looks beautiful.

25* with light snow. Eyeballing at about 2.5-3” of fresh powdery snow.  That table was cleared last night.  Sipping coffee with the wife so no official measurement yet. An hour ago laying in bed I heard the plow go by and popped out of bed because I was like “plow!?!  That could only mean one thing!!””  Lol. I love snow.

Looks like about an inch up here.I will take it, didn't look like any a few days ago.

Eyeballing 4-5". Looks like the I was just out of the jackpot zone of 5-6" which was southern NJ but away from the coast, just as advertised in fact. Still snowing lightly/steady, but it looks like the radar just loaded up one last decent batch north of Philly, which now looks to be heading through this way!! Snow just kicked back up. Maybe we can make a run at 6" before it's all done!

And Mom, I think you'll appreciate this. At 2 am I stopped squinting into my 'floodlight-ed' backyard and went to sleep, ONLY because the snowfall wasn't intense enough to justify my ridiculous behavior. lol...then at 6:30 am, my 7 year old Violet announced from my bedroom window "I think it's a foot of snow!"  That was exactly like Sroc hearing the plow from the dead sleep. But, instead of popping 9/10 awake with excitement, I responded 9/10 asleep with a very cranky and groggy: "HALF a foot...maybe...shhh..."    

As I typed this (over the course of 30 min lol), the radar really filled in nicely in N Ocean County. We might get another hour of solid snowfall here!! Woo hoo!!

Just to show how impressive this back building is going to be, when I first woke up (uh, was woke up, VIOLET!!), there was a 54% chance of snow for 7 am, now it shows 84% through 9 am!   These first two weeks of February have been something else, haven't they!

I tend to see the world thru Violet colored glasses, but anyone else see a lot of purple hue out there on LBI???

it's so exciting!! Waking up to the sight of snow and the chill in the air..just like a winter should be... Enjoy the day!!

Great to hear the South Jersey and Shore folks getting the goods today!

Back building in the radar now indicating 2-3 more hours of moderate snow S Monmouth through Central Ocean. More so for points south. My experience says cut that in half, maybe into 1/3. Thinking the steady snow to continue thru 9 am at this point and then taper off quickly. My goodness!

All the circumstancial evidence in this picture indicates 4.5-5”. I’ll get out there after breakfast for the official measurement ceremony.

Up to 44" this season for my total with 3 more on the horizon - there are 2 more out in the PAC as well that are not on the radars yet.

At work here in southern Atlantic county NJ. About 10 minutes west of Atlantic City and 10 miles north of Cape May county. Still snowing about 4-5 inches here from Very southern NJ.

New Hope update: 3" on the driveway (previously plowed and clear), nothing on the street (it's beem well salted); 29*

0.7 inches for this event puts the seasonal now at 50.5 inches right at the average for a full season. Happy that the extreme southern end of our forum finally jackpotted.
