NY sports forecast , rangers/devils rangers/isles SuperBowl

Good day everybody. Had an idea for this thread for you guys to forecast the weather for the up coming outdoor sporting events in the area. Sunday jan 26th Wed jan 29th and of course Sunday February 2nd.

I will be at the Jan 29th one.  LETS GO ISLANDERS!!!!!

I just bought tix for the game on the 29th off of stubhub.  Can't wait!  Will also be skating on the ice a week later! Let's go Islanders!!!!!

All those dates should experience normal or below normal temperatures. Lean to the side of below normal. That is also an active weather period with numerous storms possible. So we'll have to keep an eye on it.

I'll be at the isles/strangers game..lets go Isles .

Yeah but Frank they may be hiding up inside my torso like a frightened turtle with that cold. And hells yeah the underarmor will be worn.

For the SuperBowl if it snows:
Mike Francesca had Eric Grubman from the NFL on today (he's in charge of coordination of the Super Bowl) and he said they would not move the game back. They would look to move it forward. Yes, as difficult as it seems, he said they have coordinated a 48 hour lead time window to decide whether to move it up. If snow is predicted on Saturday they will be ok for Sunday. But in the worst case scenario where heavy snow seems like a very likely bet in a period from early Sunday through the end of the game they would make the decision to move the game up to Saturday. If there were a huge snowstorm forecasted for Saturday into Sunday they would move it up to either Friday evening (very unlikely he said) or earlier in the day Saturday.

Interesting I thought hey were talking about moving it to Tuesday as a contingency last year - oh well.

Its funny how we have probable storms on the night of the isle-rags game and during the super bowl. This is one fun week or 2 to be a fan of snow.
