In case anyone is interested, NOAA is holding spotter training classes in the next few months...I am going on April 7th...

The lead meteorologist from Upton does the class...basically goes over types of severe weather clouds...wall cloud, shelf cloud etc. talks about what they need reported to them as far as storm damage, flooding. Pretty basic stuff, but something they need help with to compile data. They are going to have advanced classes as well, but only in CT and LI

I already took the spotter class last year and got certified but i would definitely take the advanced class. Do you know any more about that zoo?
