Giants thoughts

Well, that was ugly.....

If I'm Jerry Reese, I'm standing in the mirror saying, what did I do with the offensive this offseason. They've had issues for two years on the o'line and have done so little to rectify it. Going to be a scary season for Eli. I would slow that up tempo offense down until everyone gets on the same page.

The defensive backfield was the biggest disappointment. All of those off season free-agency signings, including Rogers-Cromartie.
Hopefully the defensive line can get into a little rhythm, Stafford had all night to pick the defense apart.

Another ugly game....and Cruz is done with a torn patella tendon. It was really hard to watch them cart him off the field, he was in so much pain he was sobbing.....

Hey Zoo, yes, ugly and humbling loss. I've never been a fan of trash talk, especially before a big game. Giants definitely came home with their heads hung low. But it's a long season. The loss of Cruz is a crippling one, feel bad for the kid. But that's football.

Giants put the old franchise tag on J.P.P

i think it was a good move but their thoughts on long term not sure he will expect $ this is like an Osi similar type situation

I don't thoroughly understand "franchise tag". They do need more help on the d'line, I felt like JPP was constantly getting boxed in thereby eliminating his 'sackability'. He'll definitely want big bucks.

Wish they would address the o'line a little more.
