Wind has been howling for a while now.
I have all west facing windows the wind feels great blowing through the house
down to 79*

3 beautiful spring days ahead with comfortable temps and humidity.

Down to 67°

Any updates for sat am ????!!!!!

Looks like light rain for the late morning, mostly in NNJ and LI, central and southern NJ later in the day.

WARNING. IT IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON UNTIL 600 PM.

* AFFECTED AREA...NORTHWESTERN, CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY...27 TO 32 PERCENT.

* MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES...GENERALLY FROM 65 TO AROUND 70 DEGREES.

* IMPACTS...ANY WILDFIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
SPREAD RAPIDLY. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EXPECTED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS, LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY AND DRY FUELS. ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP MAY QUICKLY GET OUT

54* for my low last night with a dew of 37* - gorgeous sleeping weather.

Pollen is off the charts, I have tumble weeds of pollen all over my area from the beautiful oak trees.

Could use the rain but rather it rain all night long than during the day on the weekend.

High of 66 yesterday, currently 47 at 2am, 36 at Walpack ! Gotta love those tumble weeds everywhere. Hopefully see some rain this weekend .

I'm at 46 at 5am, Pequest and Walpack are at 32 degrees

44.5* for my low last night - crisp,clear morning, going to be a beautiful spring day - Now if we can get rid of the pollen it would be 10000000000x better!!!

Hey fellas any updates yet on sat ? I'm looking for timing how much ect. The mets are saying am showers but not a washout .

Yes showery, for LI it looks like it gets there a little later in the morning

Some models are showing a small window down the shore in the afternoon, let's hope it holds for you!

Unfortunately the air looks unstable on Saturday so the threat of pop up showers or thunder showers are possible all day. The greatest risk will be in the afternoon hours. At this point, you just have to get lucky and hope the showers either miss you or come at a later or earlier time.

For Saturday, I think the morning will be mainly dry with just a few showers around. Between 3-8pm I think there will be a threat for persistent showers which could get steady at times with isolated thunderstorms. Overall, not a great day. Hope that the timing works in your favor.

That sounds perfect frank , I'm gonna be riding on the south shore of LI and hopefully get from Babylon to montauk by 1 pm

I hope  the rain misses all of us...down here we have to leave at 6:30 for the check in of our run(like I mentioned earlier post..getting powder thrown at you in the rain is not going to be pretty!!)..My son was all excited until I told him what time he had to be up..lol... Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Something I haven't seen in a long time.....nice, steady rain pretty much from 2AM to now.Nice to hear it with the windows open.Radar looks like it will become more spotty now.Cool, 55 degrees, 77% humidity.No wind.Nice for all the drying up lawns and new vegetation.
