Xmas eve forecast keeping going higher and higher. From near 70 to low to mid 70s. Will the all time Dec high temp be in play..

72-74 is my forecast for the day. Which is just unbelievable.

I have NEVER seen anything like that in 55 years of winter observation.

You could go down to seaside, sit on the beach and get a sausage and pepper hero!

Like I've said earlier temperatures in the 80's have never happened in December, and are extremely rare in November.

Only once in 147 years has a temperature hit 80 after November 2nd, but this freak of a December anything is possible.

I did all of my baking over the weekend. Cleared my schedule when I saw how cold it was going to be! It was 47° just after midnight last night, really warm. 47° still

Dense fog advisory will likely go ip for parts of the area tonigh into the morning.
I am not posting here, in thus thread, much since what is there to say except this weather sucks right now and I look into my crystal wintwr weenie ball and see light at the end of this dark and disgusting pattern tunnel.

I wouldn't rule out 70 on Sunday.The weather channel upped that day to 70.

Today, Tuesday it is 58 here in Circleville at 3:30 pm. Rain is steady for an hour or so and not heavy with periods of time with no rain in between.

70s are shown to be in DC that day. If the trough in the west digs deeper then yes, we could achieve 70. Again.

Raining pretty hard now and radar looks impressive. With rain the next few days and the storm system on Tuesday we will probably finish December above normal precipitation. That's a very good sign after it's been dry most of the year. Maybe El Nino is starting to kick in now and this gives me hope that this year will average either near normal or above normal snowfall if this trend continues and I think it will
