Those lines never seem to make it to eastern NJ. The EPA mountains and NWNJ mountains seem to break them up.

^Correct, say gusts to 70 possible, although I feel everytime they issue a Tor watch its the KOD for the big cells to fall apart and get some light rain and thunder, we'll see.

Severe thunderstorm watch until 2am over shaded areas

Not much thunder but some vivid lightning just now. Gusts have picked up as well.

Yea the lightning has been very impressive. Better than anything I saw last Summer.

Line is pushing through now. So far just a few faint rumbles of thunder, heavy rain, and light to moderate winds.

Also the national weather service has extend the tornado watch for almost the whole state of jersey .no rain yet but wow the wind is screaming out of the south I am already up to 62 wow this is nuts feels like a late April weather

WTH is up with this?? I am seeing an impressive T-storm in Feb and had squat in what woudl be t-storm season of late spring through early fall - my god this weather and pattern makes no sense at all.

estimating wind gusts to around 40, very loud thunder and huge bolts of lightning

I stepped outside as not raining but the winds are really picking up. And now it's rain lol

A large tree branch just fell into a neighbors yard breaking some stuff.

It has been nasty out there. Real strong cell with heavy rain and gusty winds moved through here around 7:15-7:45. Now strong wind gusts rattling my windows and siding ahead of this monster line ripping through MD, DE and Eastern PA right now.

Huge wind gusts here in mid Manhattan. Very strong.

Good amount of lightning and thunder with the last cell, but I have a feeling it will pale by comparison to this next line fast approaching.

yeah same here..recycling too so extra garbage to fly around.

Line of storms in EPA forming a nice kink, indicates very strong winds aloft usually translating to a gust front on the surface. We'll see where it takes aim at and if it holds together.

Wow after last night I have 5.10 inches of rain this month
