No way. This thing is tucked in. Looks like everything else other than GGEM/GFS. Coastal NJ and LI are likely to see under 12 inches at this point.

National Weather Service has expanded the "extreme" impact zone; much of the area looking at prolific impacts tomorrow.

700mb travels over NYC...so NYC Metro and surrounding areas dry slot meaning not a whole lot of rain or mix will fall anyway. If the 700mb was off the coast, it would have been a Roidzilla for almost everyone. But looks like interior gets this one.

They look warm for your area too. You're looking at snow maps that count sleet as snow

What would you guess? 15? 18? 20?

Whew it looks like that map gives me 24 inches @ 10:1 here in Sussex County. Again i'm a bit unfamiliar with the scientific side of things-- is there a possibility that this number (24 inches) goes up or down depending on what the ratio is? Higher ratio = more snow?

Oh ok that's fine Frank I knew it was too good to be true we usually always have this happen at the coast. Now I actually hope I get nothing and everyone else gets crushed. Rather nothing then 2 inches. Lol but all things considered thanks for your hard work

Nice any wind maps? This has to produce some insane winds for a time at least. What exactly does extreme mean though that nws map has no explanation.

TWC seems pretty confident in NYC changing to a period of rain
