My bad it was the 06z Gfs alt on the 7th and 00z gem for 7th. I saw it on facebook yesterday but didn't see the actual run date. Still nice to snow on the maps even if its fantasy right now. It won't b forever and I hope all these storms keep marching along all winter.

We are going to get soaked later this afternoon through the evening. There will be cases of flooding in some parts of the area. The NAM has the low pressure passing over Jersey Shore around 8pm tonight bringing very heavy rain.

Movember - Page 3 Namconus_ref_frzn_neus_13

Total rainfall between 1-2 inches but it's all falling in a short period of time, hence the flooding concerns.

Round 2 is on Tuesday. Looks like another massive rainstorm. The interior parts of the Northeast are likely to see their first accumulating snowfall of the season.

Movember - Page 3 Gfs_mslp_pcpn_frzn_us_18

I do not anticipate our area to see any snow from the Tuesday system.

SNOW SQUALL WARNING - 1st ever!!
NWS STATE COLLEGE PA
724 AM EST SAT NOV 10 2018

PAC027-087-109-119-101311-
/O.NEW.KCTP.SQ.W.0002.181110T1224Z-181110T1330Z/
724 AM EST SAT NOV 10 2018
Centre County-Mifflin County-Snyder County-Union County-

The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Northeastern Mifflin County in central Pennsylvania...
Southeastern Centre County in central Pennsylvania...
Western Snyder County in central Pennsylvania...
Southern Union County in central Pennsylvania...

* Until 830 AM EST.

* At 724 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over Coburn,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Whiteout conditions. Zero visibility in snow and blowing
snow. Wind gusts greater than 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar and webcams.

IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

* For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Snow Shoe and Lamar exits, specifically from mile markers 157 to
166.

This includes Interstate 99 from mile markers 70 to 85.

Locations impacted include...
State College, Bellefonte, Lewisburg, Mifflinburg, Park Forest
Village, Woodward, Boalsburg, Winfield, Pleasant Gap, Lemont, Zion,
Houserville, Linntown, Middleburg, Centre Hall, Milesburg, McClure,
Millheim, Penns Creek and Beaver Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.

Reduce your speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.

Wet roadways will quickly freeze. Black ice will cause roads, bridges
and overpasses to become slick and dangerous. Slow down and be
prepared for sudden loss of traction.

A few squalls here today with graupel. But now...wait for it...more is falling pretty steady but light. Add some wind @ 18 mph, pretty constant, and it is ... a sign of things to come. 42 right now. For an old guy like me, it's cold outside.

Very dry here, 47% humidity, radar is a tease, nothing making it down to the surface. Maybe over the border in NYS, but I'm getting skunked.
