Had some wicked gusts here, can verify 40's but may have had some stronger. 2.42" of rain so far. A few tree branches down, and some street signs and a lamp post. Definitely a night to stay in!

The big diner sign at Yonkers raceway got bent in the wind at the base and is blocked off its like 75 years old and they go have remove it.

Winds still roaring sit in dark its very creepy and lots stuff falling and breaking on the sidewalks and streets. The outage I'm in encompasses 700 residences. Ugg

I saw one flash lightning no thunder here. Just insane Winds I bet nws reports gusts near or at 60mph here. Imagine if trees had full leaves.

Snowing hard at 2:23 in am, 33 degrees, sticking to cars and lawn and raised surfaces, approaching 1/2 inch, makes it look nice out,

33 and snowing.Looks like 1 1/2 to 2 inches OTG.NWS only had me for rain tonight.

Update 6 AM: More like 1 -1 1/2 inches, was half awake before. 33, light snow, wind has dropped considerably ATM.

32 degrees with light snow 1.5 inches on the ground and plows out.

A bit of a surprise. At least this gets me over 30 inches for the season in what was a truly crap winter. D- for the final grade.

No snow here got our power back at 4am. I got no sleep as I use a cpap and was unable. Still 15k outages in Westchester. Big mess. Seeing reports on nws lists in Westchester and Fairfield CT reach as high as 65 mph.

35 degrees at 8:26 in the am, got about one inch, thousands of homes without power, top of the moutain probably got 2 inches ( Mt Paradise 1605 feet elevation) might jump on my 4 wheeler and drive up there to see how much snow is up there,

LOL, I wish I could Damian, but at age 73 with my wobbly arthritic knees I would wind up floating down the Beaverkill to the Main Stem of the Delaware ,LOL.I've hung up my fishing rod in the attempt at self preservation!

I think we just had a pretty good earthquake here in Central NJ. My whole building shook for about 15 seconds. Not sure, its an earthquake but sure seemed like one.

Up here too in Monroe NY.Shook a good 10 seconds and freaked me out, thought the boiler was on the bum and was going to blow,LOL.From billg and agorr it was widespread.News broke here on NJ Strong have not seen it on the wires yet.
