nice stats....its really been a cold March, not many other yrs with more freezing temp lows in March, and its not over yet. What will April bring, its been 6 yrs since a freezing temp in Apr.

March 1960, 26 days..thats more than most Januarys. Sounds brutal.

Spring

I do think early April will start off as being a time of trough/ridge/trough/ridge. A transient pattern where nothing takes hold as of now.

Exactly, I don't understand people that like cold in the spring, it's the worst. In winter, meh, when it doesn't snow I don't like it, but I HATE it in spring.

A decent amount of rain will effect the area late Friday afternoon and continue into most of Saturday. Probably around 1 inch of rain.

Done with cold and dry - let;s move on from teen's in the morning (16* for me) so i do not have to warm up my car for 10+ minutes each day.

Okay - I found a relic from winter - a totally frozen newspaper from Jan 27th in my landscaping bed - last pile of snow on the North side of my home Sad

I don't recall ever doing so much tracking, yet getting very little reward out of it. Just the sheer amount of time spent on the past four-five weeks is enough to lower the winter's grade one step in my book but I won't - just the KSW in me- anyone else's sentiment - need to start a new thread rating this winter season!
