I need a good Rader for my phone I been using weatherbug but it's so delayed any help

Under the SPC watch they have severe winds as high, havewnt seen that in quite some time. Of course right arouhd when those storms move into NYC area im going into a room with no windows till 4:30, will there be storms after that still a possibility?

RadarScope I heard is get but is a little costly. I also use wetherbug and some other free ones.

I'm not sure what SPC's watch is out until, but threat of rain is here until 11pm.

Here in Midtown Manhattan, a flash flood warning appeared on my phone a few minutes ago and there was no rain. Now it's pouring!

Here in midtown, within a minute of the flash flood warning blowing up my phone, as if on cue, the sky got dark and lightening began.

It is pouring like I have not seen in a long time in the south Bronx alot of lightniong too. Doesn't look like it will let up for quite some time could be some serious flooding. Hence the flash flood warning.

WOW Flash flood warning for 3 hours! Thats going to cause some serious issues if it rains this hard for 3 hrs.

yeah, I saw that too..unusually long for a Flash flood warning. That rain did consolidate right over 5 boros.

Im at work its funny to here 50 phones blast flash flood warnings at the same time.

Yes Dtone I know lol, here too. The rain comes in like blasts.

I do not see a lot to the west of nyc are we getting anything more in the area?

I have a question. do cape values and other factors like shear decrease after a t/storm passes thus limiting the future potential for strong or severe storms?

I think we get a few hours break, with the next round seemingly moving out of Delaware and up into Phily area now.

Algae when I get back to my office I'll look at the Cape. But I don't think it does.

Actually algae then CAPE wenmt up in the NYC arera almost 2000 now. South its near 3000. So things are still ripe for big storms. I know there are more factors but shear is also still high 42 kts around NYC. I think this was just a precursor to whats to come. FYI Bronx river parkway is copmpletely flooded and closed in both directions.

Jersey shore getting it good

2 inches of rain in city in 45 min. Flooding everywhere. Just took me forever to get home had to drive through flooded underpass on Deegan where they were towing out stranded cars. 3+ hour wait on gwb as cross Bronx shutdown and Bronx river parkway too in both directions in white plains. And looks like there is a lot more to come. Mor ING going to be a major headache.

It definetly feels cooler out with this storms is the cold front close.

According to the wundermap its over west central PA, so not that close. We could still see new storms develop but things look to be calming down. Not in terms of rain though.
