It def has to be watched. Def some merit there. H5 looks very interesting. Like frank mentioned in his winter outlook this could be a scenerio where get get a warm cutter which sets up an interesting winter set up for the coast. Still in the long range though. To be honest I haven't looked at it a whole bunch since is over a week away

In the blink of an eye I was slammed to the back of the boat. Only by the grace of God did the bottom of my foot happen to land flat on the transom of the boat. Happened so fast I couldn't speak. Fortunately the other mate saw it and yelled to the captain who immediately pulled back on the throttle. The line cut through my boot and almost down to the bone. Somehow I was able to yank my foot out and my boot shot 250feet off the back of the boat from the tension and I fell to the ground. Scariest moment of my life. Of course at the time I didn't realize how truley close of a call it was. Shook my Captain up big time though. He shut us down for the rest of the day which was unheard of. I was about 6-12 inches from being wish boned and probably not here to tell this story. Unfortunately the son of the man who owned the boats I worked on was not so lucky. He got pulled in with the lines. It took three days before one of the local trollers dragged him up. I'll never forget the call to the US Coastguard coming in over the VHS when they found him. I happened to be on my own boat fishing with a buddy of mine at the time the call came in. The kid was in his early 20's. Chokes me up to this day thinking about how lucky I was and unlucky he was. Sorry I know this is off topic for this thread.
Incredible story and just goes to show how dangerous this work can be.In the blink of an eye, you're dead.Glad your off those boats now, Doc.
