The NAM looks like the 12Z Euro from two days ago that got everybody worked up.

Maybe they made a mistake and upgraded the NAM instead of the GFS.

Great map and I see the phallic symbol that was referred to on the posts here.
NAM colder and I have a feeling 0Z RGEM follows suite - that has been hot lately -RGEM and I think we are in for a surprise.

CP they will not put up a WSW until the storm hits or even during the storm which is ludicrous cause it gives those who do not know a false sense of 'this is not going to be bad". Everyone playing it safe with this storm as per NWS and Mets.

37 degrees.

I think 3-6" on this for the city and 6"+ easily for N &W as Lee said tonight at 6PM from the HI RES NAM - not wish casting just looking at meo models now.

Your winds are SW right now because you're still under the influence of the departing high pressure, rather than the low.

Greg when the LP comes up the winds shift to NNE - this what folks aren't understanding and if we did not have the damn low in SE CAN and a HP instead then we would be seeing much more snow easily and changeover would not be an issue.

Holy crap Lonnie Quinn has 0-2 inches for many people. Small strip of 2-4 inches. I don't bash Mets but what an awful, AWFUL forecast.

Got you analog so they will shift from the north Nw and lower temps

Good trends thus far tonight with the short range models. The only fly in the ointment that remains will be possible dry slotting which would hold down the snow amounts.
