Yup from the February 5th-6th, 2010 "Snowmageddon" storm which slammed DC-Jersey Shore gave me 18 hours of pure virga here in NYC. Result, no snow...

At least the other snowstorms that month gave me a lot. The February 25th-26th, 2010 storm was amazing!

Conked out early tonight and woke up to a nice surprise. Had to go out and measure.

2.2 inches so far and snowing light to moderate. 26 degrees. Looks like it will end in about an hour hoping to get to 3 inches, from a Clipper I'll take it. Puts me over 30 inches which is near to slightly normal for this point in the season.

As CP says, 2.2 inches up here.Light snow.Looks like some more may come in with the cold front.

Will update my totals when CP has his final measurement.I'm only a few miles from his location.

Freshens up the snowpack with brutal cold and two more possible events the next week.Can a winter weather weenie ask for anything nore?

I got 2 inches still light snow. Drive to work wasnt bad. IDK if what in Pa will make it here but its does help atmosphere is already saturated.

Snowing moderately out here on LI. Some decent bands streaming in from the SW. Looks just like the HRRR Alex posted last night on radar. Actually looks like radar back filling ever so slightly into NYC and coastal NJ. Hoping to squeeze out an inch maybe 2 if she feels up to it.

Wow CP nice, snowed here on and off the jight, not much maybe .5-.75, and its not that cold, wind advisory and windchill advisory in effect 45-50mph winds and cold sheesh. CP stay safe up there i can only imagine how cold it will b up that way. I pray the power does not go out, last time there were 45-50mph winds (believe was nov. 1st storm) a lot of people lost power, although there were leaves on the trees at that time.

I have mod to heavy snow at the moment wit about half inch so far. Just got in from the bus stop. Not a breath of wind. I FIGGIN LOVE THE SNOW!! It's so beautiful right now.
