Amazing that some places have 4 inches and others have just 1 inch, and we don't live very far from each other. I think NYC on east is dealing with too warm of a surface. 2-3 inches seems to be the top amounts there.

28.9 and moderate snow.
I'm guessing 1.5 to 2 inches?
Any areas on the lawn that were bare are now pretty much covered again.

If that. Still zero accumulation on sidewalks and streets here.

If it has not accumulated by now, I doubt it does the rest of the day though some models suggesting at coastal enhancement. I'll guess we'll see later on, but 3-6" is obviously not going to happen there. C-2" sounds about right.
The 3-6" verified in PA through parts of west NJ. Even areas down south near the shore points saw >3" of snow. The models that had the highest VV's south of NYC did very well (RGEM/NAM)

Re: 3/20 Spring Snowstorm Observations / Final Call Snow Map
soul I knew from temps last night that for manhattan and other urban areas this is a non event. no grass no snow period. roads to warm and sun to strong. add in the thousands of people walking around and these areas really had no shotSoulSingMG wrote:Frank_Wx wrote:Amazing that some places have 4 inches and others have just 1 inch, and we don't live very far from each other. Same here in Nassau county Soul which is fine by me 'cause I've had my fill of shoveling this year while dealing with a fractured rib.
