Light snow here. The snow is now spotty. I'm hoping I pick up another 0.25" to reach 7". Now I'm getting greedy

Alright, snow has ended here. Official storm total is 4.0".
Nice. But I'm still not ready to move on to spring. Still itching for that last big snowstorm
My 4.0" total is accurate, check: http://www.erh.noaa.gov/hydromet/erEventDisplay.php

There it is!! 5 changes in 48hrs to their totals forecast. The over wins. Laughable that it went from 2-3" for me this afternoon to 6-8" tonight after I have about 7 already. Thanks for the heads up.

With the moderate snow still falling I'm pretty sure another 0.25" will be measured by the am. Good night.

Almost 6 inches on the dot....ratios by me on the coast were maybe 6:1(Probably had close to a inch of liquid)...once the heavy banding stopped the roads cleared. So a low impact event down here with some nice totals in the end...Cant ask for much more...

Snow if you were the Central Park Zookeeper NYC would be approaching 80 inches this winter.

Haha, don't know what I was doing, I've been sick the past day or two (for the second snowstorm in a row, of course) and I was just walking around, pretty much dragging my dog behind me, not really thinking about how I was measuring lol.
Oh well, 4.0" at 8PM, maybe a bit more now.
Looks real nice out there for the first day of spring, that's for sure.

RAP, HRRR, and RGEM all have some enhancement overnight, gives an additional inch or two of snow for most.

What's up sroc? Looks like you got me by about 2" this go around, we're at 5" here. I noticed coming home last night on Sound that the snow really cut down past Edwards Ave. Still some light snow here.
Side note: I'm not a tremendously big poster here but thought it might be appropriate to send heart felt condolences to the family of Lisa Colagrassi and channel 7 Eyewitness News Team. Definitely too young to leave us.

Numerous reports of 3-6" across the area with isolated 7" amounts in LI and EPA. If I had moved the 3-6 south to encompass CNJ and the jersey shore, it would have been a good call by me. Alas, I busted too low. Still, compared to some other sources I thought I was one of the highest along with Nick Gregory on FOX. Sun angle was a factor until mid afternoon, but once rates picked up and dawn came it was game on from there.
