A few wet cobwebs in the bucket totalling .01 inch.

OMG!!! Can't believe my eyes!!! NOAA calling for....are you ready for this?....FLURRIES on Saturday afternoon!!!

I better get a real good look at the first flakes since October cause there may not be any more until the middle of February,LOL!!!!!

I dunno how much rain we have had so far but it has been pouring here moderate to heavy almost all day. What is our expected totals? Frank didn't post a scroll, its a huge area of rain with some pretty intense areas of rain.

Just checked NWS, wow Upton 0.8 expected, seems like its gonna be more than that.

It's been raingi,g heavly here for awhile I'm over an inch 1.06 to be exact and still going. I will be cutting the lawn into January with this rain and warmth

Looks like .80 out of Upton is going to be close. Maybe a little low. .55" here as of 4 p.m. and still looks like 4 to 6 hours of steady moderate to occasionally heavy rain at least. Might get 1.0"

IMAGINE IF IT WERE 25 DEGREES COLDER. FORECAST WOULD BE FOR 8 to 12" with 1 to 2" per hour rates from 2 p.m. thru 8 p.m. IT IS DECEMBER 17th FOR PETES SAKE>>

So as of today this December which we are now more than half way through has the same average temperature as a normal April in NYC. Okay that is F'n ridiculous. Enough already.

6.3 inches on the 9th
4.6 inches on the 16th
3.2 inches on the 24th

The pattern will change eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later because that's weather, but you have to admit we've never seen a prolonged mild spell in December like this, because it's never happened before.

For the whole month of December to average out the same as a normal April, is unprecedented.

Ended with .98", syo, the surface LP tracked basically right over us and is about 1004 right off the coast now, even if there was cold air Id doubt this would be snow except far to the north as in northern New England.

Oh well. Actually I am thankful the weather held off. Been so busy, having a lot of snow would've sucked, and that's coming from a big snow weenie. Don't have time to track these fantasy storms the models keep predicting 2 weeks out, better to keep my sanity and wait til January like we all knew we should.

Same as last year at this time and I was overthrown so don't be barking up this tree you downtrodden weenies the glass is half full. These temps suck period but lets look forward to what is to come.

We had a cold spell first week of Jan 4th to 8th and then moderated until the 18th and then hit pay dirt for 7 weeks.
