Frank if you're here, very short video explaining that graphic you posted earlier is uploading as we speak. I'd LOVE to know where you found that, because that is a FANTASTIC tool!!

All I know is if this storm happens to BUST ! Doc, Cp get the sanitarium ready on the OTI. Because there's going to be a lot of people heading there. LOL !

Re: Possible Snowstorm Thursday, February 9th
Looks like snow comes in before ground has a chance to cool, may have stickage issues at the onset... so cautiously optimistic with snow totals...

HEY, SNOW MAN, always good to see you friend.Yeah, I tried to talk CP into being reasonable but he is going all in on this storm,LOL.Personally, if I see 4 inches on the ground and 8 hours of 1-2 inch perhour snow rates ahead on the radar, THEN I believe.Seen too many bizarre things happen all these years.I'm hoping though!!!

Wouldn't the evaporative cooling make it stick pretty quick?

Yeah I just found it right before you sent the above. Thanks!! And it's just named after the person who developed it lol it's different than the standard 10:1 because it takes into account the individual thermal profile of each event.

Skins you're 13 inches on the Euro, no sweat.
You are correct CP. I didn't notice it was 24 hour precip. Even better.

Re: Possible Snowstorm Thursday, February 9th
does it have merit? Like the snow map showing godzilla snows is decently accurate, btw the individual GEFS snow maps suck for the city just noth and on south.rb924119 wrote:jmanley32 wrote:go on the top of the page the euro click regional surface, then on the right last section above the hours you will see the word kuchera, which i would love to know what that means, its def new this year.

Janet maybe at he onset but once we get cranking it is going to not matter - for NW folk maybe a 1/2 hr but remember it is night time as well with a arctic front passing.
Temp Fri night teens to single digits - WOOP WOOP.
