Also trash day, so everyone gets to play "find my trash can" when they get home from work tonight. lol. Luckily they picked up before I left for work so I was able to put it back secured behind my house before I left.

HWW upped to 1pm, winds still gusting to 50-60mph easily, my windows are shaking and howling in AC. They are actually doing regular tree trimming in this, I would think they would not be up in buckets in this kinda wind. I know its 50mph plus when the street lights arent just swaying but nearly doing full large pendulum and nearly horizontal at times.

Unfort the Euro led the way on the clipper. It never bought into the GFS idea of a more robust system. Maybe scattered snow showers or squalls. If your lucky enough to be under a squall a quick coating to 1/2" is possible I suppose. Sat should feel like winter again, relatively speaking of course.

Friday's snow and SCI at the top of the forum went POOF just like almost all of winter. I'm going to get a jump on grading this winter IMBY. I give myself a C. (Trust me it feels much more like a D or D- but I did somehow squeek out 35.5" which is miraculous) What snow I did get never stuck around. I need cold and snow on the ground to feel like winter. I had snow-cover for a total of 19 days.

Every season I hand-split and stack 2 chords of wood to heat my house for the winter. I have a wood-burning stove. This year I have almost a full chord still remaining, just like last year. Pathetic. At least last year with a Super El nino I expected it. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

Ha!  No this will be a short lived, but true winter air mass with 20-25kt NW winds. It will feel and be cold:

That's a pretty impressive cold snap coming from tonight through Sunday. After readings in the 70 last night temperatures into the teens and single digits throughout the area on two consecutive nights with windchill values close to zero. That's going to be a shock to a lot of people too bad it wasn't accompanied with snow.

Just had a 15 minutes squall of nearly white out conditions and ground covered here. Was up in Pearl River same thing there. Wind has been ripping here with temps at 26.
The block being depicted is NOT 8 days away for the record it is 120 hours. By Wed the block is big established.
