I'm trying to post maps and provide people valuable information. If you want to complain, go to the banter thread. For the record, this run verbatim gives you over 10 inches of snow. Please relax.

Very tue. Jake and Track please refrain from complaining in this thread esp as we are trying to post the play by play. Keep it in banter. Thanks

Re: March 14th Godzilla Discussion Part 2
It looks like the regular NAM developed an area of subsidence between eastern PA and NJ. Or it just got its act together late. PARA NAM is an all out Roidzilla for most.

But what I'll say is duration is long on the NAM and not a fast mover like it was before. Likely caved to the EURO at H5.

I don't have NAM para snow map but Reg NAM is not impressive. It will be very interesting to see if the Euro holds serve with its dynamics. Because NAM has consistently been under impressive, relatively speaking, with its totals.

There's a CCB over central PA taking away precip from the coast. Is there any other model that shows a CCB over central PA at the moment?

Frank it could very well be the new data that was ingested this morning with the drop sondes up in Canada showing higher heights. Will be interested to see if the other models start to pick up on it.Frank_Wx wrote:But what I'll say is duration is long on the NAM and not a fast mover like it was before.
