Very very light snow has just started about a half hour ago. Does anyone know when we will the heaviest snow will start I just want to do a few errands and finish up my Christmas shopping

After an hour of on and off grapel coming down it is now snowing steadily and lightly here in Syosset. 35 degrees. Melting on pavement sticking a little bit on colder surfaces

First flakes here in the LHV at 10:27.Radar looks great now.Nice wind swept flakes.Barometer dropped from 29.57 to 29.53 in minutes.

34* here with a steady light snow. Sticking to nonpaved surfaces but roads and sidewalks just wet at this point. A very pretty winter scene though in my backyard.

Good band sitting over Manhattan. All cold surfaces covered. Here nothing sticking yet. TWC lowered amounts by 2-3” area wide.

It is gorgeous outside especially with the Christmas decorations snow is starting to stick on the grass rooftops and car tops roads and sidewalks are mainly wet

Started snowing in Parsippany about 10:15. Very fine snow, but steady. Sticking only on my deck right now.

TWC mentioned short range high def models backing off. They’re riding it. Looks like the storm may have blown it’s l___ down south where they went 6-10” from central Alabama through Atlanta area. A BECS for them. I’ll be happy getting to 4” now.

That was not expected. It's a wet snow as is falling light and steady. Dead of winter with colder boundary temps and better snow growth - different story
