Re: March 2nd Nor'easter Update
Still unimpressed with the EURO. The urban heat island will likely rear its ugly head in NYC tomorrow. I'm not expecting much stickage from this.

Re: March 2nd Nor'easter Update
I got this off another board I’ve lurked on. The black circle is all snow supposedly. It’s the EURO that just came out which is confusing because Frank posted the EURO snow map and it was not impressive.

I'd agree with this, which is why I said the surface maps are not responding to maps aloft. Great run everywhere EXCEPT the surface maps, and I expect further corrections.

Re: March 2nd Nor'easter Update
I just thought of something. Is it a no-no or against some rule that I screenshot and re-posted a map from a competing site? If I screwed up sorry just remove it!

Well too late for that I already alerted the authorities. It was good having you on this board, good luck at trial.

Seriously look at all the loops in the thickness and 0*c lines. I've never seen anything like that - the epitome of model mayhem.

Jimmy, I recommend the Law Firms of Sheister and Finagle or Dewey, Cheatam and Howe!Plead insanity, it's a lock they will release you early.
Looks like this run was more favorable. The whole thing depends on the transfer and the bomb out pulling in that cold air.

That was probably James G. Him and Dave Curren (afternoon/evening guy) are some of my favorite TV mets. Yesterday Dave went into detail regarding the difference in 6z and 18z runs compared to 0z and 12z...I was also impressed. News 12 has some good ones.
This morning James also said he thought the prior overnight EURO run was "out to lunch" which immediately reminded me of this board (and everyone here seemed to agree with that opinion!)

Gotta be. The same happens with me when I view the threads at work. Lots of images are blocked so I have to check using my phone.

UPTON:
"The NAM, although an outlier wrt
track, is more aggressive with the magnitude of cooling with
the sys. Collaboration with WPC suggests the NAM historically
overdoes the amount of cooling, so this output is not favored."

I don't normally post - just lurk - but I see others have commented that Upton is still sticking with the little to no snow scenario - what's up with that?????
