well thats it, NWS FTW, being kinda sarchastic but maybe they had it all along. No more NZM runs really to go by so I guess if something is go change it will be a complete nowcast.

This is my final call, I think the system will be out of the area a bit faster.

4 to 6 widespread NNJ

6 to 10 higher elevations of Morris County , Passaic and Sussex counties

2 to 4 - immediate coast of NNJ which includes eastern Bergen , Hudson , extreme eastern Essex and Union counties.

Actually my laptop isn't working. I'm using my work one and I can't connect to wifi. And can't do a chat on my phone. Oh well, 00z NAM essentially held serve but central NJ (north central too) have to be careful. Could get dry slotted

This seems realistic. And is a good hit for the majority of the board especially considering two days ago this was supposed to be all rain statewide.

Earlier this afternoon, I warned if the best lifting is off the coast, that sinking dry air on the coast would warm the region, thus the 12Z GFS warm solution. Now we see it on the NAM

yes its a tough call for some...my sister's school will def close..she lives in Sussex County....the town next to me(Union Beach) has a delayed opening for tomorrow..they are worried about the flooding that can come from high tide tom morning.
