Thunder just now. In soho manhatan but no heavy snow wow

I’m still keeping the faith but this is looking pretty pathetic right now.

Temp just dropped from 35* to 33*. Moderate snow here. This (I hope) is the beginning of the good stuff.

It just changed over from mostly rain to mostly snow here in Hudson county. Temp dropped to 35 in the past half hour, too.

Oh, and the wind has kicked up - the snow is blowing sideways, east to west.

Heavy Sleet it’s about to go down. Here we go guys!!!

Going off last night's 0 0 Z snowfall Maps this is what I was supposed to have on the ground as of 12 p.m. today CMC 4 in Euro 4 in r g e m 3.5 in hi-rez are G E M 4 in n a m 2-in 3K nam 3 in even the GFS had me at 2 in as of 12 p.m. today and I report 0 inch of snow and it looks like we're going to lose the next few hours so it looks like this could be a big bust for my area

omg...I forgot how to post pics from my phone.....we have whiteout and everything is covered in the last 15 minutes...even the roads are covering....crazy...JMan have the faith its coming...

I have to be at 1 in per hour rates for the last hour and 15 minutes or so it's not even sticking on the grass in the shade I think we'll see National Weather Service lower totals for the city and Coast in their next update if you think about it it's 12:15 most of the snow should be done by 8 to reach my forecasted totals that means almost 2 in an hour for the next 8 hours not going to happen

It just a few minutes it went from tiny flakes to those huge ones. I can barely see across the street right now.

Yeah I saw that 19 inches right over our town doc. The timing is terrible for the storm if it happened 12 hours later and was all at night I believe it no way I’m buying that now. If we get a foot I be overjoyed. We will get what we get and we won’t know for sure until tomorrow morning.

Mid-levels, Frank, not lower-levels. To me, satellite and water vapor imagery indicates the H7/H5 lows are rapidly closing off over northern Delaware.

wow 12z 3km cut totals in half almost, its just not snowing hard enough and its snowing so i am starting to think unless it snows 3 inches per hr plus no shot at sticking, and i think those rates too high. watch rb be right.
