Matches up pretty well

Really like that though the GFS doesn’t have any storm out there for us (wouldn’t want a bullseye in the long range anyway) - that it has plenty of souther stream vorticity streaming through. Just have to see if we can resolve some timing issues and get lucky with something productive before we warm up in Dec.

Note the error, instead of rain totals it says max wind gusts on the top map lol opps]

Sure looks like and feels like snow but instead, a soaker tonight.First fastball for snow....SWING and a miss,LOL.

Holly was on it - goig to be a deluge for some tonight and windy!

Flurrying right now

Borderline -SN/SN and a coating so far here in the Poconos. Sitting pretty at 31°. I know it’s not long for this world, but I think we’ll get our first technically measurable snowfall of the season out of it before it changes over to a nasty cold, stereotypical November rain

Here’s to hoping (and thinking) that it’s only the first of many

Light snow here.First flakes I have seen this season.Mood flakes for Thanksgiving.In 2014, had 9 inches up here, was a winter wonderland for Thanksgiving.

Sleeting and rain at 3:20 in the pm, 34 degrees, fellas up north should get snow from this!

Wound up with a little less than a half-inch of snow/sleet before we turned over to rain. I’ll call it 0.3” by eyeball lol whatevs, we on the board baby! Haha now just a cold, windswept rain at 33°.

It snowed in NWNJ, West Milford, Bloomingdale,  Morris,Warren and Sussex Counties as well as HV snowed. BPOOYAHH!! BABY let's go. High Point NJ

Nice to see some places got a dusting. Just nasty out there for me and most I think. Windy and cold heavy rain at times.

Heavy rain right now winds about 16mph had a gust over 20 few min ago

1.7" here since yesterday, didn't notice any strong winds, just an occasional gust. 50's for T-day, wish it was cooler to give it that holiday feel.

Same rain totals. No real wind. At 2 sm it was 41 and has stayed that way so far

Hoping to race my bike up High Point in April

Good to see some folks get on the board. This storm had a very cold air antecedent air mass but most of the colder air was confined to the I90 corridor and very elevated areas. Interior SNE/CNE locations picked up a general 2-4". I'm sure Hunter saw at least that due to elevation.

Central Park still yet to hit freezing, but it's likely it will be > 1 below normal for November. That will change on Friday night/Saturday morning as temps dip below freezing in the city. 

Climo says coastal plain doesn't get its first measurable snowfall until mid December. IMBY I usually get measurable snowfall in November. We wait and see...
