Taking it in here in Jersey City before the changeover! Hate to say it, but prob shoulda stuck with my 1st call map. Barely sticking

Snowing at a decent clip here in Edison, roads are getting nasty especially the side roads

31* and still steady moderate snow. About to lose sunlight here so will be looking at it in the streetlights soon. R/s line is creeping north toward me. Would love to see it stall.

Down to 34.2…come on cold air! Rain/snow line appears to be rt about at the rockaways…south shore of western LI

First flakes in Nassau County,no stickage.
A question-If it snows an inch here but gets washed away by rain later on, does it count or can my streak of no measurable snow continue?

Sorry to disappoint you but snow totals are based on what your highest measurement is for that day.

If your rates lighten up my guess is you will hear pingers all the way up to I78 in EPA as the warm tongue comes in.

Well CP, with nothing sticking, and temps forecast to go up during the night, I'd rather keep the streak going as opposed to getting a slushy inch. For you inlanders, the streak is over.

I’m instructing cars to take a different route so I can see it stick on the roads

Now thats close! Rt on rockaway shore line. But i like the southeasterly r/s line push through central jersey

South of white line you’re mixing or rain. North of it mostly snow

Luckily no UHI issues out here. lol. Snowing at a good clip and ground is snow covered as darkness descends. By darkness I mean sunset, not the approaching sleet/rain line. But both could apply.

Tough dry air is indicative of the stubborn cold air not wanting to leave maybe

R/S line moving very slowly north. Can NYC manage 1”???
