32, 79%, 30.25 R. NWS has me cold next week but dry.No snow in sight .December Indicator flashing major red right now.

I think it's worth noting that as of today for CPK, December 2014 has had 5.94" of precipitation, making it the 17th wettest December on record and 2014 has had 53.67" of precipitation making it the 20th wettest year on record.

Rode my bike during this 50* Dec morning. Later I went to Bx Zoo where there was a ice sculpture contest which was nice but very wet. They had little tarps to block the sun which helped some. It well into the 50s* by then

45* up here in Franklin, NY today beautiful weather - December thaw after 16" of snow in mid November through early December - only big piles left to see and melt is impressive - lots of MUD!!

Old Salt who predicted a cold and snowy winter (so far up here he is balls on) said winter is taking a break and will be back with a vengeance before you know it asked him wth this meant and his reply was - YOU"LL see kid!!

Mugsy, gotta love those old timers who have seen many winters and forecast by the seat of their pants.Yep, November was a throwback to the old days where N and W of NYC always got a lot more snow.Still a few piles in parking lots here in Monroe NY HV.
