Re: Sunday Night-Monday Snow Event
Franky colder solution trend by most models. We need the rgem to hold tonight and tomorrow as nuts as this might sound to some but the way this winter is going it is the truth.
Rb euro looks like it is catching on in last night's run, wetter too.

Big 00z runs tonight. Too bad I won't be here.
How about a quick 1 hour chat as 12z runs come in tomorrow beginning at 11am? We'll have the rgem/nam by then.

Re: Sunday Night-Monday Snow Event
I think a chat tomorrow morning at 11 a.m would be good. should be on our doorstep by then so models will have a good handle on it.

Re: Sunday Night-Monday Snow Event
adian guidance has been leading the way with this system so far. Subtle trends show a secondary developing off the coast helping to keep some areas colder. Where there is disagreement now is qpf, though like I've been saying the last couple days given the orientation of the jet streak and intense thermal gradients I would expect there to be enough frontogenesis to produce the type of qpf amounts the short range models are showing.

I'm with you Frank but I take it a step further.
If there was some way for them to accumulate a negative snowfall amount tomorrow I would cheer the results.

Re: Sunday Night-Monday Snow Event
Oh they are going to have to settle up big time for crushing NY in total snow this year when they get a week of 60 degree weather with heavy rain.Won't be so funny up there then. They can give Cantore a canoe and he can paddle down the streets of Boston.
