Possible Snowstorm Thursday, 3/5

Frank I mentioned on another weatherboard that I felt the 12Z models were overplaying the confluence to the north thus the southern solutions. Did the 18Z NAM weaken the confluence, or is there another reason why it shows a more robust solution?

Channel 12 brooklyn say the percentage of 11 rather than 7 or 4 is higher

Looks just under a Godzilla to me, NYC around 8-10 looks like.

I believe the instantwxmaps includes ratios, but there is probably more snow than is shown as it may still be downplayed, not sure.

nws has been very consistent as have models. have me and jman at 4-8" for three straight updates and wsw just went up

Al I still feel 4 is def too conservative and 8 may even be, but we shall see. Whats going on right now is impressing me.

Fellas...............Take a minute to let this one go and concentrate on what's happening mow. Looking at r/s line way south and 3 to 4 hours of HEAVY snow moving in we could be about to overperform!!!

NWS always starts off conservative with WSW, when they go warning they almost always go up.

I'm so winter weather advisory'd OUT that I'll cry tears of joy if we get a WSW.

4k nam snow map for both storms

We are only expecting an inch or so from first storm and that map algae tells me big snows for my area with second storm

Has anyone ever heard of forecast.io?? my husband likes to use it. Its says 10-15 inches for Thurs in Hazlet..was curious if anyone knows what models they use? (if this is under the wrong topic I apologize in advance)

Jim, we are going to get 2-4 this afternoon and tonight for sure. I think we are going to get screwed north of 84 on Thursday. It looks like 1-3 if we are lucky.
