Oh i was not txt and driving. I meant out as in not at home. It is pouring sleet. I do not remember last time I saw this!

Absolutely pouring sleet right now. Amazingly loud.

The commute was long and scary and I consider myself lucky. Started out in Florham Park with snow and turned to sleet along the way. Lots of people stuck going up Route 10 and other feeder roads. I feel for anyone with front wheel drive.

I went from White Plains to New Rochelle it was an adventure..a slow adventure.
It changed over faster than I thought, I noticed sleet in downtown New Rochelle by 6pm.
Home in BX I measured just over 1 1/2" snow/sleet...still accumulating sleet, but mixing it with freezing rain now.

Well they did not cancel my son's concert.. Great concert..but the roads are horrible.. school is only 6 minutes door to door and with all the icing going on it took us 19 minutes to get home....I hope you all get home safe from work or school!!(did not see any salt trucks out)

Sleet fest holy crap!! I have about 1" of sleet on top of almost 2" of snow and it is pouring sleet down here at 28* - not a DPW truck to be found.

HRRR saying this shuts off by about midnight or thereafter,

Icy as anything out.

Yeah, it changed to sleet earlier than I thought for sure. It's absolutely ripping sleet right now. It's going to be a bitch to shovel tomorrow.

Yeah mugs this is insane....our DPW has been out, they just took a break...but I can't believe how hard it is sleeting!

I don't know if you guys are old enough to remember the march 1993 storm. 17 inches of snow followed by 3 inches of sleet. This reminds me of the sleet part of that storm.

Zoo - the sleet is just pouring on my house now - holy crap 2x over with freezing rain - I can't believe we can get his much ice out of little system like this.
