Woke up early on a Saturday morning just to see the snow, was not disappointed. Seeing some good snow here in Bellerose.

Happy Birthday Paesan. Great way to start off the day. Ripping here. getting close to 4" great rates!!!

frank your last post is exactly what i said on the previous page. If we are lucky and that new LP keeps the changeover delayed then there will be very little precip. left after the changeover and this snow could hang around all day.

Looks like 2". Scrolled through all the posts I have to add since 4am here and currently it's been mostly sleeting with snow right now all sleet

Seems like we are getting ready to start changing here in Fishkill; bigger aggregate flakes with faster fall speeds. Good indication rapid warming is starting to take place.

2.5 inches and snowing at a good clip. Trying to fend off that warm air advection. Temp 26*.

Changeover happening in Belleville right now. A solid 3 inches on the ground. The change happened real fast.

The time stamp on the storm moved up. So while the changeover is happening sooner, most areas ended with their expected snowfall. PA has to be examined further because parts did not even see 1 inch. Must have been a warm layer somewhere...

What a great way to wake up its winter wonderland morning sad though the snow is mixing in with sleet I think we have 3 inches of snow by my area

This was a solid event. The 12th to 18th was the time period to take advantage of the cold before the pattern turns unfavorable again. Much to our happinness, it produced.

4.25" here in Syosset. Sleet beginning to mix in right now. CP!!!! If people don't measure now before the mix compacts everything they will measure later and report 1.5"
