CP, Doc...a bit warmer here @ 24 degrees. About 15 inches and snowing heavily. This be a storm.

What the board has sought all its days and the day is here.

forgot to say...wind has been fairly quiet up here...about 8 mph. I expect higher winds later tonight...maybe 20's.

Doc, you said you had some wind. Where's mine?

As long as that intense band stays locked over Eastern PA, NJ may be suffering from one of "The Seven Words CP says you can't say": Subsidence.

I have somewhere between 20” (out front) and 23” (drift on my deck against the doors).  And that will have to be my last measurement out front because it all caved in while I was out there.  From here on out, I will have to rely on the measurements from inside against my glass door, and spotters on the NWS site.

I measured 18. Difficult to be precise because of the blowing. NWS just updated the warning, predicting 5 - 8 more inches. Very impressive storm!

How can you look at the radar then say that? There’s endless bands still coming off the ocean.
