We are now looking not just a flooding of small streams and creeks, but maybe some of our major rivers.

wow, that was nuts, rain has tapered down, i have some crazy video and pics I will try to post. I am surprised it let up so quickly thought it was supposed to go much longer, ill tell ya though thats enough rain for me for another year.

thank goodness we had that lull..the dog was able to go out...lol he was pacing and whining for hours..

The South Branch of the Raritan is at a historic flood stage at least in my area - usually lazily runs at 3 ft and now at 15 ft and climbing, rescues of people who live on it ongoing here...

This twister got toooooo close. Way tooooo close.

Truly scary night. Water coming through my ceiling and chimney and my garage and shed are flooded, and I consider myself lucky compared to my friends and neighbors, and so many other people in our area. Our street literally became a river, and I waded up to my hips to try and clear the sewer grates down the block. It was risky and useless. My neighbors cars were swamped, they had water pour through their basement windows and literally fill their basements. Our mayor said some parts of Bloomfield got 10". Not so sure about that, but it was hellish night.

I remember floyd that was insane and trying to get home from work..
