OT: "Off-Topic Island"

I think your going to be right Doc. This storm more than likely will do what you said, go south and east. To many things have to come together at the right time, I just don't see that happening at least not for our areas. Just look at the last three storms, they didn't work out. I kind of feel like CP I don't give a sh*t if we get it or not. Especially after I looked at my two summer time chariots that I'll be driving once the roads get washed off with some decent rains.

I hope our current KING hasn't scared her off with all of his negative waves and degrading comments. Lets hope she's a hearty sole and sends us one of her messenger pigeons with her decision to accept her position or decline it. We shall have to wait and see. The only thing I fear is if this possible storm does effect our kingdom, what will our current KSW do with us conspirators.

I'm to tired now from overthrowing the King, maybe this weekend. - Really now Just the Messenger ?? Why I find that hard to believe my HV friend - BRUTUS!!!!!!

CP, I agree with your post 100%. WOW ! Some people can really post and post and post. HOLY COW ! I guess KSW will either have to step down or the court of the Snow Weenie Knights will have to oust him as of Wednesday. I have received no messages from our new candidate Nkw40. Maybe the Mega Post Dragon (I think it's a cyborg, it never seems to sleep or quit like the TERMINATOR) has scared her away. The members of the OTI will have to set a time frame for her to accept her new reign as Queen of the Snow Weenie Kingdom before we have to look for a new candidate. What are thought's on my idea Sir CP ?

Sir CP I think I may have a candidate for our new King/Queen. I think we should extend an invitation to emokid51783 he or she seems to have what it takes to reign over our kingdom. Plus they seem to have enough guts to try and slay our Mega Post Dragon. I have read 3 or 4 posts that reflect this in the other threads. What do you think Sir CP ?

Just watched my local Met in Scranton, I can't believe what she just said for Tuesday. She's calling for an accumulating snow for our area, with amounts in the 10"+ range. Huh ? Well with their past track record that means we'll have sunshine and 70*. I'll believe it when I see it.

I think that local Met there is way out of line.NWS has this storm south and east of us with a POSSIBILITY of it coming west.Sounds like a low probability for heavy snow.Once again, the shore of NJ and LI will get the brunt of this.It's just been the trend set in stone all winter.Tomorrow morning will be the final call.

Ok, I made my long journey to the general weather continent today, and I'm exhausted from the trip. So many things to analyze there, my brain begins to hurt. I am very grateful to be back on Off Topic Island, where the king may be evil, (it's not me but other people saying that Mugs), where the two Queens in waiting have abdicated their thrown before their coronation, and where the citizens are few, but they are true.

Noticed on my trip to the mainland just now the concensus at 1PM is starting to verify what I had said yesterday.This thing is going east and south of us.Accuweather had me for maybe 1 to 3.No blocking.

Somebody mentioned Bastardi said it would go over the BM. I now expect it to pass directly over the Flemish Cap and we maybe see one Cirrus cloud as a result from that Bastardi KOD.

In the OTI Post Office,there will hang three pictures, front and side views, of Rayno, Bastardi, and Henry.Wanted by the OTI IBS (Island Bureau of Snowvestigation) for KOD murder of snowstorms that bypassed OTI territory (EPA, HV and NNJ).

Do not try to apprehend these suspects on your own.They are known to be viscious snow murderers merely with the use of words and not weapons.Should one be foolhardy and try to do this, make sure a liberal supply of duct tape is at hand.

Luckily I saw the Perfect Storm, several times I might add, and I know where the Flemish Cap is. I had mentioned this storm would probably hit Portugal the way it was trending, several pages ago, but maybe a last minute westward jog and it will graze the Flemish Cap.

I believe everyone over on the mainland is now accepting that this is not our storm, again.  Tom finally had top put in the last word, as he has been saying all along, and tell the select few that are still wishcasting a blizzard, it aint gonna happen.

Mugsy, we may accept you as a regular citizen here on OTI, it is really up to a vote of the OTI Parliament, but face the facts buddy your reign as King is over. Also former King Mugsy, I believe it is time to change the name of  this thread from Snow Weenie, To "Off Topic Island".  We the citizens of OTI have adopted this name for our place of solitude. This should also be placed before Parliament for a vote.

It may be time for a search party to be sent out looking for Sir Snow Man, he had some great posts this morning,    but he has been missing for several hours. Frankly I'm worried he is being held captive on the mainland.

Even though I was initially reluctant to accept Franks exile to OTI, in retrospect it was the best thing he ever did. My blood pressure is already down 30 points.

I know you have all put up with my evil ways of depriving you of snow these last 6 weeks but I claimed myself as KSW after the Feb 5th storm and provided you with a good storm thereafter 2-13, the rest is history.

I am not giving up the ship as a good leader but if I face the firing squad I will give up the crown as of Wed morning if no meaning snow falls in my kingdom - deal boys?

Doc, this post is hilarious ! I think the new king should appoint you the royal joker.  

It's good to have Mugs back where he belongs and funny as ever. He try's to be a mainlander but you can take the boy out of OTI but you can't take OTI out of the boy. I believe today's posts all around may have set a new record for laughs. Let's hope the Dragon never finds this place.

The king did provide a good storm on the 14th-15th of that there is no denying. I suppose in our haste to oust him, I mean everyone else's haste I was just reporting others wishes, we may have forgotten that. I'm willing to give everyone a second chance. As the good book says "let him without sin cast the first stone". However he must deliver some snow to our areas before the calendar turns to April. I believe there should be a three inch minimum. Let it go before the Parliament. Doc shall count the ballots.
