Football playoffs coming up...looking forward to watching Yankees again.

My team (Notre Dame) got spanked tonight by Bama. Hate the Tide.

I am a big Notre Dame fan too...that was tough to watch! Made me feel like we did not belong in Alabama's class and it pains me to admit it.

I think the players from Notre Dame were all looking at the Alabama quarterback's girlfriend with brent Musberger.He got called out for being "overzealous" in describing her.LOL, can't blame the guy, she is a honey!

Anyone have an opinion on the crazy sports but not really sports news over the last few days? Personally, I'm sick of listening to it! We got two huge NFL games coming up Sunday, I think ESPN should focus on that a little more than the circus of Te'o and Armstrong!

Thank You for saying this.I agree 100%.The Armstrong Saga is just despicable, this cheater was rightfully stripped of all his medals .What kind of an example to young people is he? I give him credit for beating cancer but he threw it all away by his doping.On the same note, I was glad the HOF did not give the doping baseball players entrance.All the records of doping baseball players should be wiped out forever.This is honor of the greats like Wille Mays, Mickey mantle and Roger Maris who earned theirs honostly.

The other guy Te'o is just plain nuts.Not as harmful as Armstrong's deeds, just a carnival sideshow.

Haha, LGM! anyway I hope that front comes through Sunday night so we are dry for first pitch!

I went to a really good game. Mets won 11-2. Great pitching by Niese and great hitting by Byrd and Cowgill. The Mets always had trouble hitting grandslams. Look what happened, a grand slam in the 1st game of the season. Unbelieveable. I took a lot of pics at the stadium. I was near the SNY booth with my friend. He interns for SNY. I met Mookie Wilson, Bobby O, Bobby V,Gary Cohen,John Franco, Keith Hernandez and Chris Carlin. They are really nice people.

Not a Met fan but NICE! I have to say I had a good time at Met Life Stadium though when I went last year for Yanks/Mets. Def a nice stadium. The Mexican Burger was amaaazzzzing!!

Well some things are for sure about the Yankees
1) they have no leader at the moment.
2) They have 1/4 of the power capability they had last year
3) Bullpen is terrible
4) Bottom 1/2 lineup sucks
5) We have a 230 million dollar payroll yet, we wont make playoffs
6) We have more payroll hurt or on the bench then most teams have playing
7) Our catchers are one of the worst hitting in the league (though I like Cervelli, he calls a good game)
Texeria will be out for the whole year, A-rod will be suspended, and Granderson will come back and have to go trough a month of "spring training"
9) The Yankees will finish in last place.
10) The Yankees need, to dump A-rod, Texeria, Granderson, and Wells. We need a true Rebuilding year, or two. We need to stock up on our farm system, and let the players develop on the field. Not trade them away to win now. With no big free agents in the coming years, the Yankees will have to develop this mentality, or we will not win see a winning season in a long time

When was the last time we had a dynasty.....oh wait! We had 9 players from our farm system on the roster......

Not worried about the Yanks. Pitching always starts shaky and then they become gradually better by May. Core pieces like Jeter, Grandy, Tex will be coming back in May, and a fully healed Arod in July. I fully expect us to be in the top of the division by September.
