Thanks Nutley.Your Yankees are almost there, good young hitters in place.Get another great starter and another young hitter or two and you are World Series bound.They had a great year IMO with what they had to work with.They got hot too early but were killing it when they were.

Winning this first game was key, as they will face Arrieta twice.We can lose two to him and still win this series.As you say, Snow88,let's beat this guy.

Harvey really showed me something in that seventh inning when two guys were on with only one out.Harvey reached back and blasted away! Murphy is the man, just an incredible performance so far.We need Wright, Cespedes and Duda to get hot now.

Meanwhile, KC two games up on Toronto.KC supposedly has the best relief staff in the majors.

Some Cub fans thought that the Cubs were going to sweep the Mets because of the outcome during the season lol. They also said that there was no chance of the Mets beating Arrieta. LMFAO.

Mets win =) Syndergaard was great. Another homerun by Murphy. Wow, this guy is having an amazing postseason. Up 2-0 going to Wrigley.

Great game by Thor and the middle relievers who we need badly.Also need Wright, Cespedes, Duda and Flores to start heating up.Danny can't carry the whole burden.Keith mentioned pitchers will start throwing him outside and Davey said the pitchers won't give him anything.The other guys need to step up NOW.

Wow, the NY Mets are the 2015 National League Champions. They are going to the World Series for the 1st time since 2000. I am really proud of this team. This team did a complete 360 degree turnaround the 2nd half to get this far. Big props to Sandy and the Wilpons for acquiring players near the trading deadline which really helped this team. This pitching staff is incredible and will be for years to come. Congrats to Murphy for being the MVP. He is having a great postseason. I really wish my dad was here to see this. He was a huge Mets fan and would have loved this. Lets gooooooooooooo Metss. World Series here we come =)

THE METS ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!!!

The Magical Mystery Mets are National league Champs! How can a team who lost the last 5 of 6 of the regular season, three being swept by the last place Phils, beat three of the best pitchers in baseball, Kershaw, Grienke, Arietta, and massacre a team that beat us 7-0 in the regular season? One word----CHEMISTRY. That, and the joker's goat who cursed the Cubs in 1908 was named MURPHY!!!!

Thanks you to the entire organization for giving me and my 95 year old Mom, who is failing and in constant pain, a wonderful two games on Tues and Weds! I'll never forget this season.

On to the World Series!!!!

Very classy move.My only regret from the Cub series is we didn't beat the Cards to get into the World Series to make up for 2006.I was a bit sad for the Cubs, they are very hard luck.They have a great team and a great manager, so they will be back!

I have to say the Cubs are not going to get by the Mets ever in the playoffs with their personnel - no pitching, free swinging hitters and bad fielding/poor defense - you can get away with this against pitchers #3,4 and 5 in MLB but not the quality the Mets put out - those young arms are here for awhile and you will be here for awhile so enjoy the ride. Yankees take notice - PATIENCE and build around young arms - A's, Royals, Astros, Mets, Cards, have al done this. Best of luck in the WS!!

I like being the underdog.You can tell the guys to play loose, you are all expected to lose.A sportswriter on my Mom's newpaper ,the Bergen Record, had the Cubs favorite over the Mets.I think I'll write a letter to the Editor saying your sportwriter knows as much about baseball as I do about disarming a nuclear warhead,LOL!

I'll be watching the Toronto-KC game tonight to get to know the players better.

Lost in all the Collins and Danny Murphy stories is the fact that Alderson deserves a lot of credit.The RA Dickey trade for D'Arnaud and Syndegaard, Curtis Granderson, Uribe, Johnson, Clippard and Cespedes have all clicked together.More amazing within the constraints of the Wilpon budget.

Lets go Metssssssssssssssssss. This is it. The World Series is upon us.
