Ratios are improving here no doubt.

Dumping snow now, road was salted an hour ago, doesn't matter anymore lol.

It's accumulating Fast here in Syosset and that's with the temperature at 33. As it drops and ratios pick up It should really accumulate even better. Man I've been lucky this winter. I've been in a perfect spot down here. I'm 1" away from 60" party

On the NWS enhanced radar for the northeast sector you can see how the snow intensity has really picked up and filled in over all of Eastern PA especially south of I-80 over the past hour or so. That should bode well for snowfall rates over the next 2 to 3 hours as that moves east-northeast.

Looks like there is a heavy band forming right on the northern edge of the precip shield, strange.

Getting windy here in Syosset also. Roads snow covered 1"+ Colder surfaces 2.5"+ and really coming down. Flake size decreased. Getting colder. Looks loke 1"+ per hour for the next 3 to 4 hours easy!!!

And to whoever asked earlier about the jet-streak being too far north, as Frank said, it is actually in an even spot where it is. If you notice, the precipitation keeps back-building (there ya go Frank, I said it again haha) over Pennsylvania, and it is all because of the vertical motion associated with that jet-streak being located where it is.

Getting a moderate "high fluff-factor" snow here at the moment; bit conglomerate powdery flakes. Close to 3" now. I wish I could have gotten this all night!!!!

It is one of the most beautiful things in all the world, that and the Sports Illustrated swim suit issue.

26.8 and moderate to heavy snow. I really didn't expect rates this heavy this far north but pleasantly surprised so far.

got about 1" last hour and 1.5" so far. snow flakes have gotten smaller temp dropped 4* in last hour down to 27* light to mod snow. Very Happy
