The rest of April looks extremely crappy. Cloudy and rainy this week, and it is looking like below normal temps and wet again next week. Hopefully all these April showers lead to a nice warm May I love you

Moderate drizzle all day so far, pretty gloomy at 41 degrees. At least we will be in the high 60s low 70s tommorow.

Question, how is it that we have a stretch of overall below normal temperatures when we have a +AO, +NAO, and -PNA. Do teleconnections play any role in the warmer months of the year or do they influence our weather only during the winter months?

I know I asked this on the A.W.E page, but I wanted to ask this board.

Teleconnections do not have an influence any longer during the warmer months. The only one that may, and that is only through spring, is the NAO. Wavelengths are much shorter now and cold air source is now being retreated back into the North Pole.
