April 9, 1996 SNOW game Yankee opener on YES right now till 9 PM

Snows throughout the entire game, leading to a blizzard in many parts of our area that night. LI received a foot place in places. A fitting end to the greatest snow YEAR ever.

That was the first year that me and my friends had season tickets. We had three seats and six guys so we did everything in a lottery, and I lost out on the home opener. Of course I was glad I didn't have the ticket when game day rolled around and it was snowing, but looking back now it would be fun to say "I was at this game".

I am going to Opening Day this year. If it snows it would make me sooooo happy.

Snowing so hard now I can't believe they're still playing.

Comcast dumped YES. Missed last season

They say a deal was done and I'll get it back when season starts
